Microsoft Cloud Partner Campaign: Product and Hyper-scale Growth Strategies

Supporting Microsoft partners to expand into new product markets and scale their managed service operations.

The Microsoft Cloud Partner Community is a networking and collaboration group for the Microsoft channel sector, encompassing vendors, consultants and MSPs.

This covers the full spectrum of Cloud services, including Azure and 365 apps.

Microsoft offers a vast product suite, spanning multiple technologies and sectors including Enterprise and Small Business. This accelerator provides a common ground for partners across this spectrum, to maximize the synergies they can achieve and expand into new product markets, spanning UCCaaS, DevOps, Migration, Virtual Desktops, Security and much more.

Product Opportunities

This will address key product segments such as Azure Virtual Desktops.

In this CRN interview Microsoft exec Scott Manchester, VP of Windows 365 (W365) and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) sets the scene, explaining that Microsoft solution providers continue to play a major role in bringing the vendor’s Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 virtualization technology to customers, and recent innovations to the Microsoft virtual desktop stack should help them ride the growing Desktop-as-a-Service wave.

Example partners include Telcos, who complement their core telephony services with this strategy. As Telcos typically specialize only in network services they often partner and co-brand with Cloud providers to offer these additional IT services. For example Orange partners with Microsoft, both for Azure value add and also as a 365 partner. Similarly Microsoft and Vodafone have signed a 10 year partnership to execute this same model.

MSP Growth Strategy

Our program provides an end-to-end support accelerator for MSPs seeking to scale their business via this strategy. The foundation of the strategy is a multi-tenant platform enabling the delivery and billing of a catalogue of services to multiple customers, managing users and resources via a single pane.

For example Nerdio empowers partners to prosecute the Intune opportunity for MSPs. N-Able offers Commander, which enables MSPs to manage, secure, standardize, and automate Microsoft 365 users, Azure resources, and Intune devices all from a single console, and can now also manage 365 Cloud PCs.
